Deleting your MemoryCrafter account
MemoryCrafter is made by GalaxyCrafter AB in Malmö, Sweden. You can close your account and remove everything in it yourself, whenever you like. This page explains how, and exactly what goes.
Please read this first
Deleting your account removes your books, your chapters and your photographs. It happens straight away, and it cannot be undone. If there is anything you would like to keep, please save or print it before you begin.
In the MemoryCrafter app
- Open the app on your phone or tablet and sign in.
- Tap Settings, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Tap “Delete my account”, type your password, and confirm.
On the website
- Sign in at memorycrafter.ai.
- Go to the security page in your account.
- Choose “Delete my account”, type your password, and confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Write to us from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you a question or two first, to be sure the request really comes from you. We answer promptly, and always within one month.
What is removed
- Your account, your name and your email address.
- Every book you own, with all of its chapters and its cover.
- Every photograph and illustration you uploaded or made.
- Your conversations with the writing assistant.
- Your sign-ins on every device, and the reminders sent to your phone.
- Any message you have sent us, and anything you have reported about the AI.
What we have to keep
Almost nothing, and only where the law requires it:
- Invoices and payment records, which Swedish bookkeeping law obliges us to keep. The delivery address on any printed book is blanked out.
- Copies inside our backups, for up to fourteen days after deletion. Then those are gone too.
